After the Second World War, 120,000 Polish refugees found asylum in Iran. This performance is based on their biographies and accounts which provide a wider perspective on national identity, historical hospitality and present-day oppression by states and religions. Mixed with images from the present, the stories are used to evoke the ghosts of the future and the past. Along with this tale of the meeting of two cultures, there will be donuts, music, poets and dancers.
