  • Usually, the memories of the generation of the late 1980s and early 1990s are filled with video recorders, first video games and Whitney Huston who they listened to on tape in their parents' car. The members of a Cracow-based group Romantic Fellas grew up in those times and enjoy drawing from them, taking advantage of the technological advances of the today's world too. Their music focuses on the vivid and bold composing methods from a few decades back. The sentimental themes of their songs are in dissonance with the music that is far from tender and grace. As they say: "We tend to be romantic, but we are big boys now".

Romantic Fellas was formed in 2015 by Ignacy Matuszewski – a producer, pianist and composer from Cracow. His passion for analogue synthesizers and his habit of collecting devices defined the band's music, giving the compositions a unique, slightly sarcastic character. Kuba Bugała, a vocalist and an author of lyrics from Cracow, became the band's voice. Then, he was joined by: Jacek Długosz – a guitar player, well-known from his cooperation with Adrian Utley, Beata Banasik and Janusz Radek; Justyn Małodobry – a bass player, producer, founder of LennoxRow and Astral Balloon, member of Stanisław Słowiński Quintet and Gadabit; and Michał Pamuła – a drummer, member of Balkanscream, TAU and So Flow.
